You are going to start from the horizontal line and follow it over to the point you want find and the follow the line up to the intersecting points. For example for point A you moved over 5 and then up 5. Remember the right half of the horizontal line is positive and the left half is negative. Same with the vertical line. The too half it positive and the bottom half is negative. For example to find point D you move to the left -4 and down -3.
