What influence do you think Archduke
Francis Ferdinand might have had on history had he lived?

Respuesta :

Had Archduke Francis Ferdinand lived, World War I might have been prevented.

Explanation:

Archduke Francis Ferdinand was the ruler of Austria-Hungary. He was assassinated though, and his assassination was used as a starting point and as a cause for the start of the World War I. Had the assassination not happened, then there is a chance that the World War I could have been prevented and avoided.  While this assumption can not be taken for granted, as there were lot of tensions and preparations for war from both fractions, there's always the chance that maybe such an important and triggering event would not have occurred and the war would not have occurred.

  • Before the assassination of Francis Ferdinand, Europe was on the verge of a war.
  • There were two fractions, one fraction being the imperial powers, and on the other side being the ones that wanted to become as powerful imperial countries.
  • The imperialism and the division of the territories across the globe was the primary reason for the war, which unfortunately came to be the worst conflict the world has ever experienced.
