Answer and Explanation:

NADPH and ATP are part of the ingredients required for glucose synthesis. Glucose also requires water, carbon dioxide and light.Photosynthesis takes place in organelles called chloroplasts. In the light-dependent reaction, chlorophyll in the grana traps light. Some of the light is used in the splitting of water into hydrogen ions and oxygen. This is photolysis. Water is absorbed by the roots and conducted through the xylem to the leaves. Carbon dioxide diffuses from the atmosphere through the stomata across the intercellular spaces to the photosynthetic cells. In carbon dioxide fixation which occur in the stroma, carbon dioxide combines with hydrogen atoms to form glucose. NADPH and ATP are used to provide energy for glucose to be formed.
