This means that, she is already in the advanced stage of ovarian cancer because both of her ovaries have already been affected.

So, in order to remove the cancerous tissue from her body, she needs to remove both of her ovaries, fallopian tubes, womb and cervix. This will prevent the cancer from spreading.

The process is known as "total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. Since fallopian tubes function as a passageway for eggs to get to the ovaries, then there is no need for that anymore since the ovaries are cancerous. This would also mean the womb and the cervix will be removed because the woman will not be capable of having kids anymore.

The doctor needs to make sure that he will be able to remove as much cancer as possible in the operation.
