The United States use diplomatic and economic means as a way to project the power in the Western Hemisphere by enforcing the Monroe doctrine in which is prohibited that other countries can settle in the lands of America. From the other hand, the most of the European nations failed in the mission to give America it's due respect, as it expected America succeeded in forcing edits rule through diplomatic relations and also by possessing the majority of the land.
