According to the fact that you didn't attached the purpose of this question, I guess you have to describe the most effective way to vary the sentence patterns in the passage. Depending on the scale of sentences which are represented above, I am pretty sure that the right answer is that you need to make a beginning of the sentences by using different parts of speech.
