The constitution requires a ¾ majority of the supreme court justices for the amendment process

Explanation:

The only role the Supreme Court can play in changing or altering  the constitution is by interpreting it as it applies to legal issues before the court. Once interpreted, this is said to have set a precedent, and that interpretation is meant to inform all courts.

The court is not directly involved in amending but the three fourth of the majority of approval is necessary for a particular amendment to pass in the legislature and become a law.
