Stokely Carmichael was originally called as Kwame Ture (in respect of two leaders of Pan-Africanism named as Ghanaian Kwame Nkrumah and Guinean Sekou Toure), he was an influential activist from Caribbean-American basis in the civil rights movement of U.S. He was leader of black nationalism and raised the slogan of rally “black power”.
