the first section of mike kubic's article reviews all trails conducted within 1692-93. kulbic accounts the relevancy of convicts being subject to death sentences when little evidence was given to efficiently prove them guilty of the accusations. in the second conflict presented, kubic writes on the events of the mass executions of the "reign of terror" in 1793-94, exactly 100 years after the salem witch trails, including the holocaust in 1933-45, and the great purge that happened during the holocaust within 1937-38. the author further explains how out of the 1,548,366 million people detained in the great purge, 618,692 were executed. on average that means 1,000 executions per day, although some estimate those numbers higher. the final part of this article, "public scares in the usa", kubic exemplifies the impact of resettling japanese americans after the second world war, the blacklisting of suspected communists in hollywood, along with the second red scare in hollywood, and concludes that the prevalence of prejudice-fueled hunts remained a global agenda even after the succeeding two and half centuries.
