- She dropped her phone which was picked up for her by a woman(thus infecting her), who later flew to London.
- The waitor picked her glass, and contracted the disease. The waitor daily commutes to Hong Kong from Guangdong province.
- On the way to Minneapolis, she has a stopover at Chicago airport. There she meets her ex boyfriend. She sleeps with him thus infecting him as well.
- She then travels back home in Minneapolis, and spreads the virus to her son by touching him.
And this is how the virus spread all around the world
