What is the best way to respond when someone brings up "you are pretty" in conversation? Don't get me wrong I don't think I am or anything but it's an award question that appears a lot. Also the “Why are you so beautiful" question. This is not just over text lol . Thank you!

One should mostly play it casual. Don't jump all over it like "OMG, really. I never really thought so." You should respond calmly like " Thank you" or "It is just who I am" You can ignore the question also.

Answer: It depends how nice you want to be with the response. You could always say a simple "Thank you" or "That's very nice of you to say." shrugging the question off is always an option as well. As for the “Why are you so beautiful" you could say "I guess i just got the genes" or a simple "Don't know"
