Lord Nero wasted no time. Nero kidnapped and tortured all of Rome's Christians before killing them in front of a large crowd. Some were crucified, some were thrown to wild animals and others were burned alive as living torches.

In the summertime of 64, Rome was devastated by a devastating fire that lasted six days and seven nights.
