Even before the start of the twentieth century, Native Americans were being discriminated against. In fact by the end of World War I Native Americans were suffering from short life expectancy, disease, malnutrition, a diminishing land base and a poorly developed and unrealistic school system.
Native Americans were obviously discriminated against before the beginning of the 20th century. Indeed, the Americans were facing low life span, sickness, poverty, a shrinking land base and a badly established and impractical schooling programme by the end of the First World War.
