Im not sure what exactly the question is but the way to find Surface area is
SA = 2wh + 2hl + 2wl
so all you have to do is plug the numbers in
2(8)(2) + 2(2)(2) + 2(8)(2) = 72
then for the second figure
2(3)(11) + 2(11)(2) + 2(3)(2) = 122
