It’s privacy cause an adolescent needs privacy because they might be traumatized if their privacy is violated.
Privacy is typically most important to the adolescent when being examined.
Adolescents are at an age where their bodies are experiencing a lot of change as they transition to adulthood. It is therefore normal and expected of them to be self-conscious about these new features until such a time as they accept these changes.
As such, when they are being examined, they will want as much privacy as possible so that less people see these features which are making them self-conscious and so medical practitioners should take note of that when examining them because a medical practitioner should be worried about the mental as well as physical health of a patient.
Privacy in the examination of an adolescences is therefore highly valued and would make them more cooperative.
