The Second Great Awakening, which occurred from 1790–1840 beginning from England  spread religion through evangelical  revivals and public  preaching which saw a lot of individuals converting to Protestants denominations in a bid to become more religious and having closer relationship with God, It also  led to the spring up of many  colleges, seminaries and mission societies which included the Adventism, and the Latter Day Saint movement.
