A) Pine Valley Furniture (PVF) would need to build an information system that would be able to integrate all the working and separate applications into a single easily accessible database. They probably could have just the same set of application working separately, however, it will lack in the output database available.

By developing its own system VF made the best decision.

B) Enterprise-Wide Systems refers too complex software and applications specifically designed for large organisations which helps in organising business operations as well as employee relations with customers. An example is SAP (system application program) used by most multinational organisations to run its operations.

Advantages include:

- they have a good purchase value due to their long useful life.

C) An experienced Systems analyst must be able to;

- perform accounting operations flexibly

- administer and control a database

- use production systems effectively
