Each region has different resources, and different types of people. For instance in the north, people were more focused on factories, industrial i should say. Industrial revolution is what was happening up there !! Working in factories, becoming more technological advanced, and moving past slavery. keep in mind the north didn’t want slavery. it’s wrong of course, but also “old fashioned”. As of the south, things like farmers (if u didn’t have slaves) or even share croppers were common.
