I think it is important to be able to put your expression into text to show the other people how you truly feel. This will help a lot in communication because the receiver does not have to guess on how you are feeling. For example, when we text and write lol at the end the other person knows that we think that sentence was funny or something in the conversation was funny. I believe it gives some life through technology and we are all not just miserable.
