6x+11=9x-16

Move 9x and it’s sign will change to negative

6x+11-9x=-16

Move +11 and it’s sigh will change to negative

6x-9x=-16-11

Subtract

It’s going to be -3x= -27

There are two negative signs in both sides so cross them and it will become positive

3x = 27
X= 27/3

Answer: X=9

The number let suppose be x Thus the answer for the number is  x-1/3

if its less than the number is 16x-9 .......eq.2

equating  both equations  6x+11=16-9x
