Similarity Between both the culture is that both belong to the native America and were involved in the hunting, gathering and agricultural works.
The contrast between the two culture is that Hopewellian culture dominated in the Northeastern American part during the time period between 200 BCE to 500 CE whereas Mississippian culture dominated the Southern most part of the America.
