Brampton, ON- A 14- year old high school student made an astounding scientific discovery. The stundent's name is Eve Everwood. She goes to Castle-brooke H.S. and is an intern at Sickids hospital, in the brain cancer department.
While working , she accidently spillled Hydrogen on the Chemo-therapy chemicals. She observed that the Chemo + Hydrogen combo reacted differently with the blood cells compared to Chemo alone. Instead of the chemo weakening & destroying all cells, the combo only destroyed the GBM cells (a common form of brain cancer). Eve tested the combo with other forms of brain cancer as well, and the results were positive.
" This is a true scientific breakthrough", said the head of the Brain Cancer Department, " Now patients can feel less worn out and feel more active, while being treated for brain cancer".
" I hope more breakthroughs can be discovered', said Eve Everwood during a press conference," Now patients can enjoy life freely, knowing that their immune system would be stronger and have a resistance to common flus that is severe threat to those with cancer."
