PEER PRESSURE: when friends put pressure on individual it can lead to sexual intercourse before marriage. peer pressure is a very difficult situation to deal with when it has to do with sex. Many people engaged in sexual intercourse before marriage because they see their friends doing it and because of that, they considered it to be normal.

CURIOSITY: curiosity is another reason why many people engage in pre-marital sex. Most people don't have the necessary information about sex and for those that have, they think the information is not sufficient and are always eager to practice it.

ELECTRONIC MEDIA: radio, TV, films have contributed greatly to premarital sex. what people watch on the screen influence their behavior and character. Most of the programs showing on TV is all about sex. Therefore when people exposes themselves to sex programs it could influence them to engage in pre-marital sex.

IGNORANCE: Not having good sex education is another reason why people engages in premarital sex. Many people are into it without knowing the consequences.

BAD PARENTING: lack of good upbringing can make an individual to engage in pre-marital sex.

4. Electronic Media: Electronic media plays a key role in attracting an individual to a area of unsafe sex practice. Internet access has open gateway to huge exposure to sexual content which makes teens curious and eventually they end up getting attracted to the phase.
