First you use the Pythagorean theorem, you take 16squared minus 4squared equals b squared. 16 squared will  equal 256 and 4 squared will equal 16.
256 minus 16 is 240, take the square root of 240 and you get, (with rounding to the nearest tenth), 15.5 feet
