Communication is the act of sending and receiving messages. Sometimes messages are communicated verbally, with words, or nonverbaly, with body language. When communication is effective, the intended message is received. When communication is ineffective, messages are unclear. Describe a time when you had difficulty communicating a message. Why was the intended message not received properly?

Respuesta :

There was this one time where I am trying to explain to my sister something about our research and the whole time that I was talking my sister was confused and could not understand what I was trying to say. I thought that maybe the cause that my message was not received properly is that I was not using the right terms or words to say. I should be more careful of the terms I say since not all can understand the same I understand some words.

Answer:

A time during which I had difficulty communicating a message had been while I was at work: I was hosting at the time at a small diner. On this particular morning, I'd had a migraine, causing for my body language to appear stiff and unengaged. My head had hurt so badly I neglected to be mindful of my appearance, so when the customers walked through the door, I had my arms crossed and my expression was flat. Upon seating them, I could see that they'd seemed offended, despite the fact that I'd said nothing rude- it was then I realized the importance of body language.
