We have come a long way since the times where we thought the Earth was the center of the universe. Scientists are working very hard to find ways to cure different diseases. Here are some ways they're trying to help.

The most famous of all sicknesses today: Coronavirus. In the Harvard Gazette, the person behind the masterpiece said, "The approaches are varied and include designing small molecules that can inhibit proteins in the virus, harnessing the natural power of the human immune system by extracting antibodies from recovered patients, and repurposing existing antivirals made to fight other diseases." So basically they want to design molecules that can put proteins in the virus so that the immune system will work better and then it states the how on that. I don't know much on all of this stuff but, I think as far as ideas go, this is a good one

Second most popular, Cancer. No one knows the cure to Cancer quite yet but, it was posted on October 15th, 2020, cancer.gov, that, "FDA has recently approved two blood tests, known as liquid biopsies, that gather genetic information to help inform treatment decisions for people with cancer. This Cancer Currents story explores how the tests are used and who can get the tests." So, we know they are doing something to help and they're notifying others on the treatment decisions.

Last but not least, Diabetes. According to diabetes.org, "A hugely promising area of research in Type 2 diabetes is now showing that remission is possible. Remission means that people have normal blood glucose levels without taking any diabetes medication. Our scientists are breaking new ground in understanding how to put Type 2 diabetes into remission." This is amazing! Breaking "new ground"? That's great!

In conclusion, scientists are working to help make a cure for currently "incurable" diseases. I just want to thank the doctors and scientists for making it this hard, working this hard, and spending so much time making ground-breaking discoveries.
