Animal scientists work with farmers to improve animal breeding, diseases and nutrition. When animals grow well and stay healthy, farmers can produce more meat, milk or eggs for our consumption. if ur gonna be a Animal scientist u have to have at least a master's degree in biology, chemistry or another related field. A master's degree takes about two to three years to earn after first obtaining a four-year bachelor's. and since 2019 animal scientists get paid $68,570 per year. This is the equivalent of a wage of approximately $32.96 an hour.
