Okay, so I have a question where it's an exponent one one side and a log on the other like
5e^(x+1)+2=2log((x^2)+3) and I have to find the smallest solution for x and explain how I got there. I desperately need some assistance

Answer:

x=-3.555 i think

Step-by-step explanation:

I tried to solve the equation algebraically but couldn't come up with an answer so i tried graphing the equation like ,

[tex]y=5e^{x+1} +2[/tex] and then the other

[tex]y=2log((x^2)+3)[/tex]

and on both the graphs intersect on only one value of x that is -3.555 so i guess that is the smallest solution for x.

I hope this in some way helps but i am not sure hope some one else posts something
