Concentration - you need to have concentration skills to be able to memorize your lines and play your part.
Goal Setting - You should make a goal for yourself when working on memorization or even projection; improving on yourself especially in drama is important, as it can even lead to drama careers.
Listening - listening to the instructor is crucial in drama class. They tell you performance dates,special skills you need to learn, and help you on your vocals.
Self Discipline - self discipline is important not only in drama class but throughout your life. It teaches you to not act out and do something stupid that could cost you a grade, or later even a job. It teaches you to be well behaved which is good for any class.
Self Reflection - knowing how to self reflect is important, as it teaches you how to reflect back on something you did wrong and you learn how to better yourself in that type of situation. It’s also good because it helps you look back on, for example, how you were to say your lines, but when the teacher tells you to say it with more emotion or to project more, you can reflect back on what you were doing and how to make it better.
