So I live in New York and I'm 14

I really hate my family and wanna move out. You can’t get emancipated in New York weirdly, and I don’t wanna runaway bc I wanna continue school. My mom won’t let me move in with a friend either.

I wanna rent my own place in Cali can I? How can I convince my parents, I plan on moving when I’m 16 tho. How much guap should I save up? How can I prove I’m responsible??

I wouldn’t suggest running away just wait it out Ik it can be difficult in toxic households but it really is the best option. Maybe get a job so ur not always at home u r quite young so I don’t believe you’ll legally be able to get ur own place in Cali
