Use your knowledge of Mendeliam genetics to write a hypothesis that answers the lab question, "What is the effect of the genes of the parental mice on the fur color of the offspring mice?" Be sure to use the "If". . . then . . . " format.
If the parental genotypes are heterozygous for the dominant trait or at least both of them has one copy of the recessive gene then the offspring mice can manifest the recessive gene.
