If an African American didn’t receive their freedomthey wanted they will take risk such as running away to try to experience a better life and putting theirlife on the line. Got to the point where people like Harriet Tubman will put her life on the line almostevery night to help other slaves escape to not relive the horror their eyes only see. The freedom in thenorth had Africans work twice as hard, make escape plans, and die all to be granted a black person’sfreedom. Even though, they still went through all those unhealthy mind situations they still had to dealwith racism and inequality every day.
