Answer:
The domain is the range of values that the function expands over.
For example x^2 has a domain of all real values on the ordinary number line.
Recognize that 4/x is simply a modification of 1/x.
Hence the graph looks like two parabolic motions on the x-y plane
So the domain is
[tex]( - \infty, 0) U(0 ,\infty )[/tex]
Note that X cannot equal 0.
