The organization performed a data analysis of the relationship between Ecological Footprint Consumption per Capita and human development index (HDI) by country. The Ecological Footprint Consumption per Capita represents the demand in land resources imposed by human consumption per person, measured in hectares. The Human Development Index (HDI) metric is a calculation that combines life expectancy, education, and per capita income data in order to rank countries by human development.
