nucleus- brain of the cell, controls the cell and tells it how to reproduce

chromatid- half of the chromosome, two are held together to create a chromosome by a centromere, in the nucleolus which is in the nucleus

chromosome- the whole thing before the chromatids are split up, two chromatids contains dna

nucleolus- in the nucleus, contains chromosomes, makes ribosomes

nuclear membrane- controls what comes in and out if the nucleus

nuclear pore- in the nuclear membrane, allows the transport of molecules throughout the nuclear membrane
