=>By v = u + at
=>v = 4a ------------(i)
For 1st phase:-
=>By s = ut + 1/2at^2

For 2nd phase:-
=>By s = vt
=>s2 = 4a x (9.1-4)
=>s2 = 20.4a -------------(iii)
=>By (ii) + (iii):-

2)(a) By v = u -gt
=>0 = u - 9.8 x 1.5
=>u = 14.7 m/s
