3. Causes of the American Revolution
After the French and Indian War, the colonies were in war debt, therefor they started taxing the colonists, causing civil disobedience such as the Boston Tea Party and political protest. All of the constant taxing led to the American Revolution, the patriots revolting against the British to gain Independence.
