The definition and the structure of life are said to be very complicated. Thus, life is defined as an organism maintaining homeostasis. It is made up of cells that undergo metabolism that can grow, adapt and respond to stimuli. Life is said to start as a single cell that had multiplied over time, forming a different kind of species and forming an eco-system that is interdependent for their survival.
