I totally agree with you. Learning languages is always good, it doesn't matter what language. Even if only a few people speak it, there are still people speaking it. Learning German is a good decision, especially if you want to work internationally, work in Europe, live there or just meet German people. Don't lose your motivation and keep learning :D

When a person is learning about a second language, must adopt strategies to learn it actively as:

  • To have friends that speak German.
  • To watch TV shows or series in German.
  • To take course in German.
  • To visit Germany.

When a person is learning German, regularly thinks about the form to improve the pronunciation and understanding, by this reason he / she must adopt some strategies to make this, like to know native German friends, watch TV or series in German, even to visit the country, to close more and more to the culture and the people there.
