DuBois openly disagreed with this comment and he demanded things for the African American’s, like that whites and African American’s should have the same educational opportunities. This is when a man named Marcus Garvey decided to teach African American’s that black is beautiful, and that African American’s should embrace their heritage, culture, and race.
