To Find :

The pressure at the bottom of the lake due to the depth of water.

Solution :

We know, hydrostatic pressure is given by :

[tex]P = \rho gd[/tex] ( Here,  g is acceleration due to gravity, g = 10 m/s².

Putting all values in above equation, we get :

[tex]P = 1000\ kg/m^3 \times 10 \ m/s^2 \times 5\ m\\\\P = 5\times 10^4 \ Pascal[/tex]

Hence, this is the required solution.
