what is the porpuse of law ? Is there a common core ,or does your answer differ for different type of society ? What is the rule of law in a society in which you reside ?

Answer:

Law exists for the purpose of public peace and safety of the persons within the county/city/province. ANswers may differ for different cities with different laws and Police departments. The law from where I am in is made in the Kremel Parliament. The OMOH and COBR enforce the populus in large quantities while the DPS and Police enforce the minor groups.
