The setting of the story Circuit is Fresno,California according to the text on paragraph 5 “The thought of having to move to Fresno and knowing what was in store for me brought tears.” Panchito and his moved to Fresno,California to start new work. The family was immigrant moving from place to place to make more money and care for themselves and as whole. According to the text on paragraph 34 “ I thought they were happy to see me but when I opened the door to our shack, I saw that everything we owned was neatly packed in cardboard boxes.”
