It was a bright Sunday, too warm and beautiful to stay inside. Thinking I could use some fresh air, I went outside and lied down on our lawn to read my favorite book once again. All of a sudden a thud brought me back to reality, and I saw a large bag lying next to me. It took me a moment to lift my eyes and see the man who had thrown it dashing away down the street. I called out, but to no avail. He disappeared. Upon hearing my scream, my parents came outside. A few neighbors also appeared, asking what was going on. We all eyed the bag suspiciously. Could it contain stolen goods? Could it be a bomb?! Someone called the police, the bomb squad arrived, it was pure chaos! Finally, as the squad proceeded to open the bag, we found it only contained some old, used clothes. To this day, we wonder why that man did what he did, but no once has come up with a good enough idea.
