Well, considering all that happened, I'd say no because the subjects in the experiment did not really have a chance to do anything nor even try to have a better outcome, as they were forced to do many things, without a break, and in horrible conditions, some of them even suffered serious psychological trauma after that, as of the others who participated as the police force, in this case, it wasn't as bad for them, but that outcome definitely changed them in some way or another considering that they knew what they were doing and would remember it for a long time.
