If i where in the 1800's in America I would serve in the war of 1812, As would my wife. She would work in the nurses tent's to save solder's as they got hurt. i would serve and fight to save my contrey. After the 1812 war i turned 45 Â (figure of speech) I would be a immagrant after my war. I would be travling to Californa for the 1800's gold rush. After i got some gold i would attend The "Second great awaking" meeting's. After all of the meeting's i am 54 and I did the "trail of tears" after i got to my destanation i passed away and i lived a heathy amazing life!

today I’ve arrived in America. I will miss my beautiful home and my friends, but i must chase freedom. They say I can practice my religion freely here and become my own person. I’m excited to finally become a free man.
I see a lot of African men tied up and beaten. It breaks my heart to see these men being treated as property. I remember seeing my friend Avdol being taken away to participate on this inhuman slave trade. May god bless their souls and help move them on a path of equality and peace.
Today I begin my new life. Ive heard of political tensions growing between the powerful white men. I’ve seen women staying at home and children playing around the streets. I hope America is all they say it is.
