I do not think that the death penalty should be allowed in the United States because of the fact it cost a lot of money and our government cannot afford to spend thousands and millions of dollars to harm another human being. And if we have a death penalty what if that person who was sentenced to death and already died was innocent for that crime. For instance there was a colored man in jail for armed robbery and let’s say he was protecting the clerk with a firearm because of the reason being the robber had a gun so he pointed his weapon at the robber and the police show up and the robber fleas and the colored man gets put in jail. Because they can’t bring him back from the dead and give him back to them and say sorry. That would make our government look horrible and that would make the police force look horrible to because there could always be that chance that the individual was an African American then other people would say that the government or the police force is racist. Then the country or state would have a riot and would half or maybe even forced to kill or harm other people just for them to look like a bad person when in other people’s eyes they would say “They did not half to kill anyone.” And a number of people would agree with that person. Also other families could sue the government because the government killed an innocent person and the government would be stuck because they gave the executioner the go ahead to kill a person who did nothing to deserve it.
