Answer: For the Raven.

The poem Explores how sadness can take over ones life and their interaction with society. Edgar days that he is "weak and weary" indicating that he has sat in sadness for a long time now and he has let it take over. He also says, "Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December, and each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor." This sets the mood in a warm environment with a cold surrounding. When you go through the poem he talks about opening the door. So in conclusion throughout the poem he realizes what he needs to do. The raven guides him through until you, the reader, gets to the end where he says, "Get thee back into the tempest and the Night’s Plutonian shore! Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken! Leave my loneliness unbroken!—quit the bust above my door! Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!” This has changed the mood entirely from the warm and sad environment to a fearless and pain revoking environment.

So your main conclusion is: The poem starts off in a Warm and a type of Deep Sad environment, Then through the poem it shape-shifts into a Fearless and Pain Revoking Environment.
