KM = 2KR

Given the following

  • KM = 3x - 5
  • KR = x  + 7

Hence;

3x - 5  = 2(x+7)

3x - 5 = 2x + 14

3x - 2x = 14 + 5

x = 19

Similarly, JL = 2JR

JR = JL/2

JR = 4x-10/2

JR = 4(19)-10/2

JR = 66/2

JR = 33

Hence the measure of  x and JR are 19 and 33  respectively
