We were missing 13 across, 30 across, 23, 27 and 29 down

Across: 13, which is squid ink, 30 across, noodles

Down:

23, is "chow mein"

27, which is "less"

29 down is pesto, but that makes 29 across wrong.

and 29 across is all that's left. I guess pick a 4-letter word that starts with p that might fit...pure? pink?
